American art has influenced artistic movements worldwide and challenged traditional modes of expression.
I knew I wanted to be an artist at a very young age. So, as a kid, I was consumed by art books and enjoyed them every chance I could, mainly the Renaissance artists and realism art. While in eighth grade, I discovered an artist who would change my world and inspire my passion.
Barry Mack, an artist known for exceptional innovation and creativity, is unveiling a new gallery show featuring 14 richly textured, golden, abstract paintings. The show is at the C Gallery, Portland, Oregon, and is open by appointment.
First off, I love cars, so this works for me. Anytime I can share the stage with a room of exotic cars and beautiful ladies makes for a great art show. Set up in a rockin’ bar with great tequila, a ton of Karma love, some new epic artworks, a couple of artists, and on you’re got a fun party by anyone’s standard. Cool, even by Vegas standards. This is Karma Las Vegas.
I’ve been a fan of Beti Kristof’s art and creative sensibilities since the day we met. Her passion-filled spirit and paintings embrace life and a zest for art, making her stand out from other artists. As a result, canvas and paint take on a momentum of their own.
After more than three successful years at Tivoli Villiage, the Bobby Wheat Gallery is proud to announce that they will be relocating to Downtown Summerlin this coming Fall.
The diverse and dynamic Steve Connolly always impresses with his “Spirit of the King” performances and “Portrait of a King” artworks.
I met Barry in the late 1980s when we were introduced by a mutual friend. Our shared passion for art immediately united us as life-long friends; over the years, we’ve watched each other grow as artists. Barry’s art delves into the mysteries of the unknown, forever exploring color, texture, and the underlying emotions brought forth by art and the creative process.
You learn a lot about someone over a lifetime of creative endeavors in this journey we call life. Raphael, or “Raf” to his friends, has been a dear friend of mine and an inspiration since our first encounter when we were introduced by our mutual friend, artist Michael Cacy, in the late 1980s. Back then, I was painting the larger-than-life Hollywood Video murals. Raf was creating beautifully detailed airbrushed illustrations.
The Jennifer McCarty Art Show – “An Aries Artist” was her 1st Solo Show, but you wouldn’t know it by the crowd. She showed 61 original pieces and had a great turnout of friends and fans.
His larger-than-life artworks have inspired me for years. But even more so, his larger-than-life “can-do” attitude is even more impressive.
