Honored to share that A.D. Cook is a featured artist on ModelSociety.com. Honored because the level of creative artists, models, and photographers on this website is impressive. I’ve shared a collection of my figurative art nudes on the ModelSociety website for a few years, so I’ve had the pleasure of watching the site grow and mature.
Celebrating 24 years online. ADCook.com was launched on Oct 23rd, 1996 to share A.D. Cook artworks and design. How Time Flies I still remember the excitement of creating and launching the first ADCook.com website. In retrospect, by today’s standards, it was, well… pretty funky.
“Let’s build a website. It’ll be fun” How many times have you thought that? Or heard that? I get that a lot from people who want to build a website and think that it just pops up overnight. That’s usually followed by an “If we build it, they will come” mindset.
Have you ever wondered how many Internet users there are in the world? Or the total number of websites in the world, emails sent today, daily Google searches? If you’re curious how many computers, smart pads, and cell phones have sold today, there is a place online where you can find out all that and more.
Google changed everything. Even in its earliest versions, Google was a game changer. While you had to be specific about your searches (ex: restaurant+city+___________), you did get results, and that freed us up to explore the world from our desktops. Today, only a couple decades later, you can just talk into your smartphone and ask it to “find the best 24 hour pizza,” and instantly get miles of choices for your dining pleasure.
