Second Annual Italian Car Show 2011

Lamborghini, Ferrari, and great Italian food. A great day of relaxing and fun with the Las Vegas exotic car crowd…

Everyone knows I love cars – especially exotic high-performance supercars (just glance through my Blog posts or read my Tweets to see lots of great car pics)…

But not everyone knows that Lamborghini is my very favorite Italian exotics. That’s why I was especially excited to attend this year’s Second Annual Italian Car Show at Siena Italian Authentic Trattoria on Sahara in Las Vegas, Nevada on on October 9th, 2011. With about three dozen cars on display, there was no shortage of cool rides. While the majority of beautiful cars were of the Ferrari variety, including a bright yellow Enzo and a couple of 599 beauties, there were also seven beautiful Lamborghini on display, including a couple of Diablo, two Gallardo, three Murcialago (one SV even), and the all-new Aventador LP 700-4.

My passion goes far beyond enjoying these beautiful machines from afar. I had the pleasure and privilege of driving two Lamborghini that day. I joyfully drove the balloon white Murcialago SuperValoce [SV] to the event and the satin pearl white Aventador back to the dealership. Of course, I love both for different reasons but I can easily say that the Aventador absolutely rocks! It is as amazing as it is comfortable. 700 horsepower and seven gears of fun. It’s everything I come to hope for in a car of this level ~ absolutely stunning in every regard. Anyway, I could go on for hours about the Aventador. Ultimately, you need to see one up close for yourself to appreciate everything this car is about. In the interim, click here for the Lamborghini Aventador video on YouTube.

Special thanks to Tom Brazill at Lamborghini Las Vegas and to our host Antonio at Siena Italian Authentic Trattoria.
