When I’m not at the easel and not working on a design project, one of my favorite pastimes is working on my website, writing new posts, and exploring new related technology if you haven’t visited the ADCook.com website in a while, it’s had a lot of updates to explore, including
I’m excited to get started on my Corvette paintings for inclusion in the LUSTER Exhibition at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, next year. But before I can start painting, I treat my canvasses to a multi-step process to create the perfect canvas for my realism art.
This is where I go when I want to get inspired and connect with the local car community. The Las Vegas Cars & Coffee is a booming gathering of enthusiastic car folks, easy to get to, and boasts hundreds of stunning cars weekly, including some amazing Corvettes.
LUSTER: Realism and Hyperrealism in Contemporary Automobile and Motorcycle Paintings is a traveling exhibition comprising over 55 paintings by nearly 15 leading photorealists and hyperrealists specializing in automobiles and motorcycles as their primary subject of choice.
June 2, 2023 — The LUSTER collection has arrived at The Dennos Museum Center in spectacularly beautiful Traverse Bay, Michigan, made famous by Ernest Hemmingway in the Nick Adams Stories, in which he chronicled the early years he spent in the area.

08/28/21 — Salt Lake City, Utah, was the place to be for Willy’s Garage annual VIP party, car show, and airbrush art exhibit. Saturday, hot rod enthusiasts, custom painters, airbrush artists, pinheads, and car fans of every variety came together to celebrate the art and love of the automobile.
