If you thought it was too hot in July for beer events, think again. Thanks to the modern technology of air conditioning there are several slated for this month, all taking place indoors. Two beer festivals are scheduled for Saturday, July 20, timed in such a way that you could attend both.
On June 30, 1953, Chevrolet made history by assembling the first-ever Corvette at its Flint, Michigan plant. The sleek and stylish sports car was an instant hit, capturing the hearts of car enthusiasts all over the world. It marked a turning point in automotive design and innovation, paving the way for countless future generations of high-performance vehicles.
Social Station Kitchen & Cocktails is now open in Henderson, at Eastern and W Horizon Ridge Pkwy in the outer corner of the Smith’s Center. The name alludes to the fact that the restaurant is non-gaming and allows for interactions between guests without the distraction of noisy gaming machines.
Long before artificial intelligence consumed all conversations related to the blurred line of assisted creativity, artists had often found themselves at the center of the question, “How is art defined?” Art, whether a sculpture, painting, photograph, theatrical production, or film, is inherently subjective and interpreted only through the eyes of the individual viewing it at that given moment. The viewer consumes and digests the art, not as a computer program might with cold ones and zeros, but through the filter of their memories, experiences, and opinions formed over many years or seconds before their eyes reach the canvas.
With my recent move to Arizona, I’ve fallen a bit behind on my posts and updates. So far behind, in fact, that I missed acknowledging a huge social milestone. It turns out that as of April 2024, I have been posting (tweeting) on Twitter/X for fifteen years running, celebrating art and creativity.

They say you can never go home again, but I’ve been home many times. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve returned to Phoenix. It still holds a special place in my heart and is one of my favorite cities. Despite not living there for many years, its charm and beauty remain in my memory.

It is an art that blends creativity with functionality and enhances the quality of our lives.
Over the past few years, I’ve inadvertently created a collection of artworks that has fondly become my America First Series. It’s a small series of epic paintings of America’s Sports Car and American iron – aka Haley-Davidson and Indian motorcycle. Several of my America First creations include an American flag as part of the prevailing theme.
Hey there! Did you know that World Art Day falls on April 15th every year? Art means different things to people, depending on culture, ethnicity, upbringing, and personal preferences. This day is about cultivating art appreciation and inspiring folks to notice the endless beauty and creativity around them. It’s a great excuse to take a break from our busy lives and appreciate the world through a different lens.
Classic T-shirts and beautiful cars are always in fashion. Since unveiling my latest epic car painting, MOMENTUM, I’ve been asked if I offered shirts featuring the paintings.
