The Freakin Frog is freakin cool. With nearly a thousand craft brews to choose from, I selected the Premium Bavaricum Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dark beer as my premium of the night – and it was absolutely delicious.
“Muse, a celebration of truth and beauty” is in the works. My coffee table book featuring a selection of my favorite art nude paintings and thoughts and perspectives on both art and muse is nearing completion and will be available soon.
Tonight, they made for a fantastic evening of community-supporting community at the Fashion Clash Fashion Show showcasing wonderful Las Vegas designers. Artifice Art Bar in the Arts District was a packed house and clearly the place to be. Nudity in art has been debated since the beginning of time. After all, the unclothed human figure is an important genre in art, as it has been beautifully featured throughout history since ancient times.
Last week, I posted in my blog that it’s always fun to post art from the past. Over the last few days, I’ve added three large original paintings from 1993-94 and an illustration from 1988.
Created in 1994, this original painting was created on Tyvek, a non-woven surface created by DuPont. “The Look” has been in a climate-controlled archive for the last decade. Recently discovered and offered here, this is an original one-of-a-kind painting.

In many ways, 2012 has been a reflective year for me as an artist. I created a lot of new art in a variety of media, and that always excites me. But this year was epic for me in other ways, too.
As an art lover, you would agree that opening up archives of art is an experience that cannot be missed. Imagine going through artwork that has been hidden away for nearly a decade!
For many of us, this was a fun-filled and interesting year. Memorable for sure. I know it was for me. That may be why 2012 was (and still is) such a creative year. I started mine off creatively and am wrapping it up in like fashion. It’s all about art.
