A warm greeting after a long trip from Las Vegas to the biggest motorcycle rally in the world. To say the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally 2016 is a blast would be a huge understatement.
A few short weeks ago, I was chatting with renowned photographer Michael Lichter about this year’s Art of the Motorcycle Show at the Buffalo Chip. He offered to share one of my motorcycle paintings if I had something tattoo-inspired to show. I didn’t, but that was about the change.
I’m honored to be featured on the cover of Art & Beyond Magazine, Special Nude, and Figurative Art Edition. My painting, ECLIPSE, has always been one of the favorites of my most painted muses.
I’m one of those guys who believes that things happen for a reason, and still believes that dreams really do come true. I’m a little old fashioned that way. A romantic of sorts. And maybe I’m a taste patriotic as well, since both my latest paintings feature stripes of red and white and stars in fields of blue.
The Karma Las Vegas Pre-Party at Chicago Motor Cars was a blast. Catch the video here.
For me, motorcycles are always art. Two of my tattoo-inspired original artworks will be showcased among thirty world-class motorcycle builders. I’m looking forward to meeting a lot of these great artists – legends in the world of custom motorcycles.
Motorcycle Art by A.D. Cook – realistic paintings of Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycle, choppers, and baggers. As seen in Easyriders.
First off, I love cars, so this works for me. Anytime I can share the stage with a room of exotic cars and beautiful ladies makes for a great art show. Set up in a rockin’ bar with great tequila, a ton of Karma love, some new epic artworks, a couple of artists, and on you’re got a fun party by anyone’s standard. Cool, even by Vegas standards. This is Karma Las Vegas.
ART & BEYOND ~ artist A.D. Cook interview 07/21/16. “Art has such a healing power. My art nudes are created to celebrate, edify, and inspire.” — A.D.
Watch AMERICA chopper art in process video by A.D. Cook as he creates this epic artwork at the easel. Special thanks to Charlie Brechtel for music.
AMERICA, my latest painting in my America First Series is a perfect fit for Charlie Brechtel and his rockin’ song “Made in the U.S.A.”
