As we come to the close of another year, there is no better time to celebrate the beauty and magic of the holiday season. It is a time when we can all come together, regardless of our differences, to share the joy of giving and the warmth of companionship. So on this special day, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season filled with all the blessings and love that life has to offer.

Brian Howard (chef/owner of Sparrow + Wolf) opened his Half Bird Chicken & Beer in Chinatown in the summer of 2022, and has now closed that location, but the concept has hatched in a new location in Henderson, at 725 S Green Valley Pkwy at Horizon Ridge.

I’ve been putting this off for ages, but I recently decided it was finally time to resolve my old YouTube issues and build a new channel to host and share my videos — the old and new alike. My new YouTube channel ( YouTube.com/@ADCook ) includes several art creation videos of my automotive-inspired art, motorcycle portraits, and fine art nudes on canvas and metal, event videos from various art shows and exhibits, along with my observations and stories of art, love, Las Vegas, and beyond.
What a day! It’s been a while since I’ve been to a race in Las Vegas and even longer since I’ve experienced anything like today. It was loud, with the smell of fuel, WD40, burnt rubber in the air, and gritty dust in the wind. And that was just on the track. Overhead, amazing U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds F-16 Fighter Falcons fighter jets were practicing their moves with a few flyovers. And although it was a bit chilly, it was a blast of a day!
