IPCPR

Cigar nirvana. For a cigar aficionado like myself, the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers 82nd Annual Convention & International Trade Show was the place to be.

The IPCPR Annual Convention & Trade Show is the most important event of the year for tobacconists! This is the big show, and anything that has anything to do with cigars happens here. This year’s show was at the Sands Expo Center, July 13-17th. This is an industry-only for professional retail tobacconists, exhibitors, and their employees only. I was there as an industry guest. In my short visit, I snapped a few pics to share with you here. Enjoy.

The Fuente Opus X – a fantastic cigar.

Ahhh… I can almost smell them just looking at this pic. Delicious.

2013-IPCPR-Bugatti-Cigars

These Bugatti cigars are fantastic. I recently enjoyed a couple of these and immediately fell in love with them.

2013-IPCPR-RoMaCraft-Biggie

Talk about great cigars; I really enjoy RoMa Craft Tobacos cigars. I discovered them a while back at En Fuego Cigars in Las Vegas. Michael pulled this one out, and everybody stepped back about a foot. Seriously, that’s one huge cigar, buddy (sir). If you get a chance, check out their “Intemperance” and “Cromagnon” cigars.

2013-IPCPR-Skull-Display

While this cigar guy’s days are over, the display is a winner! This is just a small part of the Foundry tobacco display.

2013-IPCPR-RobbReport-Award

Speaking of wins, Robb Report recently named Foundry Tobacco to its prestigious “Best of the Best” list, ranking the innovative line among other world-class luxury brands like Cartier, Patek Philippe, and Aston Martin. The Robb Report coverage was a fitting lead-in to the excitement that Foundry Tobacco Company would create at IPCPR.

2013-IPCPR-Full-Humidor

Total bonus. I was given a beautiful selection of great cigars. My humidor is full.

As an artist, I enjoy creating cigar-related paintings, so going to these events is a form of staying inspired. I find the cigar bands often to be beautiful works of art in and of themselves. A long-time cigar aficionado, I often enjoy a great smoke while working in the studio.
