Bring The Heat
While technically still Spring, today felt like Summer, with temperatures hitting almost a hundred degrees. That heat impacted today’s car show, resulting in lighter-than-usual attendance of cars and visitors. But, as hot as it was, the cars were cool. While the selection was modest, there was still something for everyone, including street rods, muscle cars, sports cars, classics, and pickups.
Friday, April 11th, marked my ninth visit to the East Valley Cruisers Cruise-In in Mesa, AZ, since discovering the gathering of cool rods and custom cars last October 11. My most recent visit was on March 21st. This was also my twentieth car show of the season, so I wanted to snap as many pics as possible, especially since the car show season is tapering down as the heat rises. There are only a couple more Friday evening car shows at the SW corner of Signal Butte and Main Street in Mesa, so make sure to swing by and check out the awesome autos before the show wraps up for the season. Show hours are 2 p.m to 6 p.m., but get there early to avoid the heat.
The East Valley Cruisers is a car club in Mesa Arizona. The club puts on a car show/cruise in on Friday nights in the east valley to get together with friends and have a good time.
