In many ways, 2012 has been a reflective year for me as an artist.
I created a lot of new art in a variety of media, and that always excites me. But this year was epic for me in other ways, too.
David – 1988, 24-1/2″ x 15-3/4″ © A.D. Cook
Inspired by Michelangelo’s David, with a warning glare, eyes turned towards Rome. I created “David” in 1988 – a quarter of a century ago. This original painting on an illustration board has been in a climate-controlled archive for the last decade. Recently rediscovered and offered here, “David” is a one-of-a-kind painting.
Ready to hang. It is framed in black metal with glass.
