NashFX - Apache Junction, AZ
Sometimes, you can tell someone is an artist before meeting them. That’s the case with Nash, who I met recently while enjoying my morning walk exploring the backroads and neighborhoods of Apache Junction. The Von Dutch flying eye sign and large metal cactus sculptures adorning his front yard were a dead giveaway for me, screaming, “Artist lives here.”
In celebration of American Artist Appreciation Month, I’m excited to share the art and backstory of NASH, a multi-talented artist from Apache Junction, Arizona.
A lifelong artist, Nash began drawing from day one, picked up an airbrush in 1987, launched NashFX in 1999, and started tattooing around 2011. Rounding out his many skills and passions, Nash also enjoys metal fabricating and automotive customizing, which he began in 1999 as part of NashFX.

"All of my work is inspired by my life, my Grandmother, the worlds of tattoo and airbrush. I love to create and build from scratch. I feel truly fortunate to be able to make a living creating everyday. The body of my work is mostly airbrush, but I also enjoy welding and fabricating, and being a tattoo artist. My art is produced out of my need to create and inspire. My hope is to inspire you."
