Observations and stories of art, love, lifestyle, Las Vegas, and beyond.
It seems like only yesterday that I was celebrating post number five hundred (See my post “The Big Five-Oh Oh!” on September 30, 2022). Not that quantity is everything, but when we hit the “big numbers,” it’s nice to pause and celebrate, and for some reason, the big Six-Oh-Oh feels like a lot.
Okay, six hundred posts is a lot, even if spread out over a few years. And for the most part, I wrote nearly all of those six hundred over the last fifteen years or so. Lately, I’ve enjoyed some excellent assistance from Las Vegas food and beverage writer Bob Barnes through lifestyle posts. These are especially great if you want to catch up on great dining experiences or a night out.
Now, with the addition of a couple of contributing writers, primarily Bob and also Frank Malliner, this site’s posts are more frequent and more varied in content. While I will continue to write about art and design, along with my occasional geeky posts, I hope to spend more time in the studio. That means more art update posts and maybe even a couple of how-to and step-by-step articles.
As I write this post, I am wrapping up my paintings for the Luster Exhibition at the National Corvette Museum. Read my most recent MOMENTUM update here and stay tuned for more posts on the Corvette project, which runs through early 2025.
