Behind The Scenes With Horny Mike
I recently stopped by Count’s Kustoms in Las Vegas to deliver my artwork, ETERNAL, to Horny Mike for its final clear coat and polish. Very soon, my lifesize metal artwork will be off to her collector on the East Coast. But first, the guys at Count’s will spray ETERNAL with automotive urethane and polish her to a glass-smooth luster. Oh, she’ll look deep, but the entire piece is 1/16″ thick—more on that in a later post and video of the cleared artwork.
Before catching up with Mike, I took a few minutes to explore the Count’s museum of cool rides and awesome oddities. As always, I couldn’t help but snap off a few pics of some of their unique rides. Enjoy the pics below for a preview of their museum, but make sure you visit them next time in Las Vegas to experience the museum first-hand.
Visit Count’s Kustoms at 2714 S. Highland Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89109, and online at CountsKustoms.com.
