October 27, 2001 ~ The Nathan Adelson Hospice 12th Annual Wine and Food Tasting Extravaganza in Las Vegas…
Nathan Adelson Hospice hosted its Annual Wine and Food Tasting Extravaganza, as they do every October. A variety of wines are presented, along with wonderful samplings of food from some of the area’s finest restaurants. Guests participated in the event by bidding on amazing silent auction items and purchasing balloon opportunities, all while listening to great entertainment. Each attendee received a wine glass adorned with a charm and a take-home gift. This event is special ~ all the funds raised from this event go to supporting the hospice’s Pediatric Program.
Southern Nevada residents and hospice supporters sampled popular wines and delectable cuisine from popular Vegas hotspots at this event to benefit Nathan Adelson Hospice.
So, needless to say, it’s a fantastic event for a great cause. We enjoyed an evening of great food and wine with friends at Gaudin Luxury Cars of Las Vegas who cleared cars from their showroom to make room for the hundreds of guests that evening. There was no shortage of fabulous foods and wines and the silent auction filled with lots of great prizes for the bidding.
The quartet of stringed specialists played throughout the evening, adding a pleasant tone of harmony to the crowd.
A great selection of wines was provided by Johnson Brothers of Nevada. I personally enjoyed The Big Kahuna, a delightful red wine that I’ve become very familiar with. Thanks and cheers to NAH for including us.
