A dear friend recently told me, “Life is about romance, comfort, and style.” And she’s right. After all, she should know. Women understand romance and style differently than men, and I would go so far as to say that women are generally considered the more romantic of the sexes. In many ways, they are more in touch with their feelings and certainly more comfortable expressing them. That is perhaps why they are more capable of understanding art — its true essence and meaning anyway. Certainly, women appreciate art differently than men. And through their softer side, they bring a sense of calmness to man. And that’s a good thing.

Here are a few ways to please your lover – or at least some ideas for celebrating Valentine’s.
God knows I only know a few in the grand scheme of things. So, in closing, here’s my shortlist of ways to please her on Valentine’s Day.
Art, chocolate, cooking for her, washing the dishes, more chocolate, taking her to a movie, doing something she wants to do, dancing, giving a great foot massage, going for walks together, listening to her (some would say this is number one on her list), offer her an awesome back massage, candles – especially the scented variety, flowers, jewelry, books, enjoy a great wine together, turn off your cell phone for your time together, take a long bath together, give her your time, perfume, listen to her music, take her on a vacation, text her a sexy message, compliment her sincerely, make her laugh, be present, laugh with her, be you when you’re with her and appreciate her for who she is… and the rest is up to you.
