A few weeks ago, I said I looked forward to checking out the 1st Annual Superstition Classics Car Show. I’ve waited anxiously since first hearing of it while visiting the VFW Post 9299 Car and Motorcycle Show on October 5th.
Yesterday was perfect—the weather was excellent, and the setting was spectacular for a spectacular car show in Gold Canyon. There were plenty of unique cars and trucks, food, vendors, a raffle, T-shirts, music, family photos, and trick-or-treating for the kids.
As always, I thoroughly enjoyed catching the collection of classic cars. So many masterpieces caught my eye that it would be hard to pick a favorite, but the Orange mid-engine De Tomaso Pantera (produced from 1971 to 1992) seemed to hold my attention in a big way. You hardly ever see these timeless beauties anymore—not that you ever saw many, to begin with, since only about 7,000 were made in their twenty-five-year production.
But Pantera aside, several classics and old-school muscle cars on hand made my day. As always, I shot miles of photos of everything I found to be cool (some more cool than others). That’s the great thing about car shows: there is often something for everyone, and everyone has their personal favorite. Enjoy my pics below to find your favorite.
